MAMP - "ON THE MOVE"
Major Accomplishment to date:
- Gained national status for MAMB members by being recognized as the professional association in Mississippi by the National Association of Mortgage Brokers (NAMB).
- Brought a NAMB national delegate council meeting to Mississippi.
- Sponsored 4 regional seminars attended by over 500 mortgage professionals.
- Established a professional rapport with the MS Banking Commission.
- Presented testimony before the MS Senate Business and Financial Institutions Committee on licensure.
- Drafted and presented a licensure bill to be introduced in the 1999 MS legislative session.
- Hired 2 lobbyists to assist in getting the MAMP message to MS legislators.
